i think i am satisfied now--i.e., i won't need to keep writing about hair for a little while, at least. i can move on to other things because i love how the bleach experiment turned out!

It looks awesome, the highlights were a totally great addition! I actually tried to perm my hair this weekend but, between 5 women, we couldn't get the rods in! LOL-you did a much better job at the DIY 'do! :)

WHOA - they still make perms?! that's kind of awesome. seriously though, those rods are crazy... it takes an expert not to fumble them all over the place.
i distinctly remember my mother perming my aunt's hair every other month in the kitchen of my grandmother's house... that smell actually reminds me of my childhood. ha.
